Rational Numbers

I am having a hard time understanding distributive property of multiplication. I keep failing that one distributive property question. Can you guys help me?

Hey Jeruel,

If I understand correctly I belive that it goes something like this: If you have "a ( b + c )" then you would simplify that to "a (bc)" and then multiply "a" and "bc" together to get your answer.
So, an example of this would be 10 ( 3 + 4 ), then we simplify it to 10 (7) which we then multiply together which leads us to the answer of 70.
