Hello everyone,

We have been hard at work making the Squidward Community College forum even better. This post will outline our changes since the forum was released.

Quick summary of new features:
 • Pastebin
 • Private Messages
 • New Emotes :jellyfish1: :krabbypatty1: :pineapple1: :mrkrabs1: :gary1: :squidward1:
 • New Default Avatars
 • National Flags
 • Media Embeds

Explanation of New features:

Pastebin
We now have a Pastebin built into the forum. You can access it here or by clicking the link at the top left of the page.
This is useful for sharing large paragraphs of text or code.

Private Messages
You can now send a private message to other users. We added this so you can communicate outside of a forum post. You are also able to send attachments to each other.
You can send a private message here.

New Emotes
We have added new emotes, some of which are Spongebob-themed. These can be used in forum posts or your signature.
All new emotes: :jellyfish1: :krabbypatty1: :pineapple1: :mrkrabs1: :gary1: :squidward1:     :geek:   :surprised: :ugeek:              :eh: :lolno: :problem: :shh: :shifty:  :silent:     :wtf:

New Default Avatars
We have added some new default avatars for you to select from the user control panel. You are still able to upload a custom profile picture if desired.
You can change your avatar here. Once there, you click the dropdown box and select "Gallery Avatars", and then you can choose one of the new default avatars.
Here are some of the new avatars we added:

National Flags
There is now a section on the forum homepage that displays the flags for our user's countries. If you haven't already, you can select your country in the user control panel.

Media Embeds
If you post a link to an external video, photo or audio sharing website such as YouTube, the media can now be embedded within your post. You can do this by encapsulating the link within the tag.
Here is an example of what that looks like from Soundcloud:

Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
